Audyse is building next-generation industrial communication and safety systems. Our AI-powered smart PPE enables clear communication, real-time situational awareness, and live telemetry in the world’s noisiest environments. As we expand into oil & gas, mining, manufacturing, and other heavy industries, we’re looking for a driven Business Development Representative to help shape our market presence from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
This is not a traditional BDR role, it’s a chance to help build the commercial engine of a deep-tech startup.
You will:
- Lead sales outreach, qualification, and discovery with enterprise and mid-market industrial customers.
- Run customer discovery to deeply understand problems, workflows, and buying processes.
- Help shape our storytelling, messaging, and positioning based on real customer insights.
- Work with the founding team to build and refine landing pages, funnels, and experiments to test what resonates.
- Drive top-of-funnel pipeline, schedule demos, and support enterprise sales cycles.
- Collaborate with marketing to grow our brand and voice within industrial safety and innovation.
- Represent customer needs internally to influence product direction, features, and market fit.
- Help craft pitch materials, case studies, decks, and customer-facing collateral.
- Operate in a high-ownership, fast-moving environment where feedback cycles are short and impact is immediate.
This role is ideal for someone hungry to grow into a sales, marketing, or GTM leader.
What You Need
- 2–5+ years in sales, business development, customer success, or marketing—startup or industrial experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into customer value.
- Comfortable speaking with managers, directors, and executives in industrial settings.
- Ability to learn new industries quickly and ask smart, thoughtful questions.
- Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and outbound email/LinkedIn workflows.
- A blend of sales mindset + curiosity + storytelling ability.
- Willingness to experiment with messaging, landing pages, and GTM tests.
- Highly organized, persistent, and motivated by results and impact.
Bonus Points For

- Experience selling into manufacturing, mining, oil & gas, construction, or industrial operations
- Experience building or optimizing landing pages (Webflow, Framer, Notion, etc.)
- Background in early-stage startup sales or customer discovery
- Experience with paid ads, content creation, or brand building
- Technical curiosity—enough to learn how our device and cloud stack works
